Notice of Privacy Practices
Breaking Free provides gender-specific treatment services to women to help them achieve their goal of beginning their recovery. Services
are provided in both an Intensive Outpatient level as well as an Outpatient level.
Womens Level II/Intensive Outpatient Program:
Project Safe
The mission of Project SAFE is to successfully treat substance abuse problems by offering women, including women
with children, a program that combines motivation and support to achieve and maintain abstinence and restore family relationships.
The program is designed to meet the specific needs of women and offers:
- Outreach services to initiate contact with women and helps
them overcome obstacles to treatment such as transportation and childcare
- Collaborative working relationships with referral sources,
such as employers, family members, and the Department of Children and Family Services.
- Individual, Group and Family counseling
- Patient
and Family Educational seminars
- The Success Shop, an incentive program for completing treatment tasks
- Continuing care for 3-6
months following the completion of the Intensive Outpatient phase of the program
- Random testing for drug and alcohol use
- Parenting
classes to reintegrate the family and support recovery
- Family Recovery Program, a program for family members and others with a loved
one in treatment.
Women’s Level I/Outpatient Program
For women requiring a less intensive level of care or for women
who have completed Inpatient or Intensive Outpatient Services, Breaking Free offers outpatient services to support their abstinence
and ongoing recovery as they manage the demands of work, family, relationships and recovery. Incorporating individual, group and family
counseling, gender-specific approaches are used to accomplish the treatment goals established by each individual and her counselor
with a special emphasis on relationships, family, relapse prevention and community-based sober support systems.
