The program is designed to meet the specific needs of women and offers:

them overcome obstacles to treatment such as transportation and childcare
- Collaborative working relationships with referral sources,
such as employers, family members, and the Department of Children and Family Services.
- Individual, Group and Family counseling
and Family Educational seminars
- The Success Shop, an incentive program for completing treatment tasks
- Continuing care for 3-6
months following the completion of the Intensive Outpatient phase of the program
- Random testing for drug and alcohol use
classes to reintegrate the family and support recovery
- Family Recovery Program, a program for family members and others with a loved
one in treatment.
Women’s Level I/Outpatient Program
For women requiring a less intensive level of care or for women
who have completed Inpatient or Intensive Outpatient Services, Breaking Free offers outpatient services to support their abstinence
and ongoing recovery as they manage the demands of work, family, relationships and recovery. Incorporating individual, group and family
counseling, gender-specific approaches are used to accomplish the treatment goals established by each individual and her counselor
with a special emphasis on relationships, family, relapse prevention and community-based sober support systems.
